Maryland Sheep and Fiber Festival

We recently spent a few days at the Maryland Sheep and Fiber Festival at the Howard County Fairgrounds in Maryland. Well over 20,000 people visited during the 2 days of the festival and we enjoyed speaking with people from around the country and showing off the 2 rams we brought along. Cammy, a Shetland ram, and Humphrey, a Dutch Spotted ram, thoroughly enjoyed the attention they received.

Humphrey especially enjoyed the attention of showing people and judges a breed new to the country. A great moment for us was when he was evaluated by a visiting vet from the UK who is also a Dutch Spotted breeder and given an excellent review.
